Share Samsung records through Health Connect
Update Samsung Health on your phone and watch before starting. Keep the watch close to your phone while it syncs.
Open Samsung Health
Wait for the watch to sync. Check that your latest sleep or steps appear in Samsung Health.
Open Health Connect permissions
In Samsung Health settings, open Health Connect, then App permissions and Samsung Health. Allow the records you want Samsung Health to share.
Allow Vora to read
Connect Health Connect in Vora settings. Grant read access to the same data categories.
Check the result
Reopen Vora and check a recent record. Compare the date and data source, not only the daily total.
What comes through?
Samsung documents sharing activity, heart rate, and sleep through Health Connect. The exact records depend on your watch, settings, and permissions.
Samsung Health does not share HRV through Health Connect. For Energy Score, use Vora’s separate Samsung Health connection below. For overnight HRV, use the compatible watch app.
Sleep or steps missing?
Check Samsung Health first. If the data is missing there, the watch has not finished syncing to the phone.
If Samsung Health has the record, check Health Connect next. Confirm Samsung Health can write that category and Vora can read it. Open both apps after changing permissions.
A small timing difference can be a sync delay. A missing category can be a sharing limitation. Reconnecting repeatedly will not make a category appear if the source app does not share it.
Connect Samsung Health directly
This route reads supported body composition, skin temperature and Energy Score records from Samsung Health on your phone. It requires Android 10 or newer and Samsung Health installed and set up. Available records still depend on your device.
Open Samsung Health in Vora
In Vora, open Settings, then Connections, then Samsung Health.
Choose Allow Samsung Health
Review the requested permissions and allow the records you want Vora to read.
Check a recent record
Compare its date and source with Samsung Health. The direct connection and Health Connect share different categories.
Get overnight HRV from your Galaxy Watch
Vora’s watch app measures overnight HRV separately. It does not import an HRV value from Samsung Health. Use a compatible Galaxy Watch4 or newer paired with your Android phone.
Find Vora on your Galaxy Watch
Open Vora’s Samsung Health connection screen on your phone and find the Vora on your Galaxy Watch section.
Install and open the watch app
Choose Install on your watch. If that does not open the listing, search for Vora in the Play Store on your watch. Open it and allow heart rate access.
Wear it overnight
Check the last-reading time on the connection screen after a night of use. The app describes about a week of nights before HRV feeds the Recovery score.
Looking for Bevel on Android?
Bevel’s health app does not currently run on Android. Compare the apps and data routes that work with your watch before choosing an alternative.
Common questions
Does Vora replace Samsung Health?
For this setup, keep Samsung Health. It receives the watch data and shares supported records through Health Connect.
Will Samsung Energy Score transfer?
Vora’s direct Samsung Health connection can read Energy Score when your setup provides it. That connection needs Android 10 or newer. Do not expect Energy Score through Health Connect.
Does Health Connect share Galaxy Watch HRV?
Samsung Health does not share HRV through Health Connect. Vora’s app on a compatible Galaxy Watch measures overnight HRV separately and requires watch permissions.
Do I install Health Connect on my Galaxy Watch?
No. Set up Health Connect on your Android phone. Samsung Health handles the watch-to-phone sync.
